Sign up, click Build a rack, and upload a reference track, the song with the vocal sound you want. Optionally drop in your own dry vocal too. Pick your Ableton version, hit Build, and grab the .adg when it's ready. Most racks finish in 2–4 minutes.
Getting
started.
Your first rack in 2–4 minutes.
WAV, MP3, AIFF, AAC, OGG, FLAC, and M4A. References can be up to 8 minutes long. If your file is longer than 20 seconds, our in-browser cropper lets you select the most vocal-forward section.
Anywhere from 5 seconds to 8 minutes. Pick a section with a clear, present vocal. A chorus or a vocal-forward verse works far better than a sparse intro, a breakdown, or a vocal-free drop.
No. A reference alone works. But uploading your dry vocal alongside the reference lets the rack adapt to your voice instead of describing the reference in the abstract. Highly recommended once you're past your first free rack.
The reference is the finished, mixed song whose vocal sound you want to borrow. The dry vocal is your own raw recording with no effects on it. PhantomRack bridges the two: it listens to the reference, fingerprints your voice, then generates a rack to close the gap.
